We are pleased to be adding John Storey's CD, Euphonium, to the Big Big Train shop. John has been a key part of the Big Big Train sound for the last few years. He played euphonium on the English Electric and Folklore albums and performed with the band at the London shows in 2015.

The idea for the Euphonium album came about whilst John was discussing recording projects with two colleagues in the Coldstream Guards band. They were keen to produce, engineer and edit with John performing.

John Storey: 'For me it was an opportunity to record some pieces of music that have meant something to me over my performing career so far (I performed the Flower Song for Her Majesty the Queen in Windsor Castle). We were also able to include some new, previously unrecorded works too (Steven Rocky's Concertino for Euphonium and String Quartet and Euphoria by Rodney Newton).'

For further information on the Euphonium album, please see this review at Progradar
