Shawn Dudley posted a video on Big Big Train's wall: A question for the drummers/musicians/people that actually understood music theory.... Can someone explain to me exactly what is going on rhythmically in this song? I found this track utterly captivating from the first time I heard it and I believe the interesting rhythmic drive was one of the primary elements. The first minute of the piece is very striking and even when it "kicks in" that floating, ethereal pulse remains. This is the first album to feature new drummer Daniel Moilanen an... (1 comment)

Peter Jones wrote on Big Big Train's wall: I've been a bit out of touch lately, so I wasn't sure if A Stone's Throw was out yet. I looked on Bandcamp this morning and found it was. :) It's now sat on my laptop waiting, as I'm going to save it til I really have time to enjoy it. :) (10 likes, 1 comment)

Martin Wreford-Bush wrote on Big Big Train's wall: Just like to add my admiration of A Stones Throw.... here. This has got to be the best live recording I've heard in a long time. I'd like to single out the backing vocals/ harmonies. I see that everyone had a hand in this. It strikes me that just because you are an excellent musician, it doesn't follow that you will necessarily have a good voice. However all harmonies are spot on and clear. Well done everyone but particularly Greg and Andy for having assembled such a talented bunch. Incidenta... (6 likes, 2 comments)

Thank you David Longdon, Dave Gregory, Greg Spawton, Rachel Hall, and Danny Manners!!! The playful vocals at the end get me every time. (5 likes, 1 comment)

Simon Cooke wrote on Big Big Train's wall: Sir Gary of Buckley is very good to me :-) These three beauties plonked through my letterbox this morning all the way from sunny Arizona. Not sure how he gets so many duplicates, think he buys the 5:1 versions, but I'm very grateful. My last consignment consisted of 21 cd's - every Genesis album that was missing from my collection plus various Yes, Tull and a few other gems. Top chap :-) (6 likes, 1 comment)
