The thing is, how many more releases (speaking in prog domain) are worthy? I can remember Yes' Symphonic Live (which I have the DVD version) or the upcoming Steve Hackett's From Acolyte to Wolflight. Mike Bowler wrote on Big Big Train's wall: I hesitate to bring up the subject here, but we received the new Paul Simon album today. We purchased tickets (at extortionate prices) for his show at the Bournemouth BIC this Autumn. My wife is a fan, I like a lot of his work and the last time I went to see him the performance was awesome. There is no chance of an artist of his standing producing a poor album, and indeed there is some interesting music on it, but after two interesting opening tracks, I kind of lost interest. Yet I read rave rev... (1 like, 7 comments)

Mike Bowler posted a photo on Big Big Train's wall: It is already almost a week since we returned from Beziers in the Languedoc region of southern France. I was trawling through some of the photos today and came across our favourite Beziers Plane tree, situated above the outside dining area of our favourite brasserie. Just a few m from the Beziers Canal du Midi basin, it was a cool and shady spot to lunch or early evening meal, and we grew to appreciate it very much "Reaching for the day's last light" :-) (9 likes, 6 comments)

Mark Abbeyman wrote on Big Big Train's wall: Now i've finished the summerhouse windows; my next project is to knock a doorway through to the back store, from the front one, i'll put up shelves etc and bring ALL my tools and equipment indoors; including my tool chest from the garage. I'll need to cut a slot and fit a concrete lintel; its only a single doorway, but i like things done properly. That has to be done BEFORE i knock the doorway through! It'll need a coat of paint, and a strip light fitted. That'll keep me going for a few days! (5 likes, 5 comments)
