The release of Stone and Steel, originally planned for this year, will now happen on 7th March 2016. Alongside nine songs and documentary footage filmed at Real World in 2014, we have decided to include four songs from the Kings Place gigs this year, and to mix all performances in 5.1 as well as stereo. It hasn't proved possible to complete this work in time for a pre-Christmas release.

On Saturday 24th October, four members of Big Big Train performed a short acoustic set as part of Francis Dunnery’s CKDCF Charity Event at Egremont Town Hall, Cumbria. Other performers on the bill included Francis Dunnery, Dorie Jackson, John Mitchell, Peter Jones (Tiger Moth Tales), John & Wayne, Materya, Deborah Rose and John Gilmour Smith. Big Big Train closed the first set. The second half of the show was a set by legendary former Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant.

A video of the band playing "Victorian Brickwork" live at Kings Place, London on 16th August 2015 has been released on YouTube.
