Steve Hughes solo album

Steve Hughes played drums for Big Big Train on all of the albums up to and including The Difference Machine. Steve has just released his first solo album which also features vocals and lyrics by Sean Filkins, BBT's singer on the Gathering Speed and Difference Machine albums.

Sold out gigs and new band members - third gig added

Big Big Train recently announced two shows in London in August 2015. The gigs both sold out during the ticket pre-sale and a third concert has now been announced which will be a matinee show on the 16th August. Tickets for this show will go on general sale on the 24th October. These are the only gigs currently planned in the next year. Big Big Train will be releasing a DVD and Blu-Ray of our recent performances at Real World studios in 2015.


Live DVD/Blu-Ray and gigs coming in 2015

Big Big Train have recently completed the filming of live performances of a number of songs at Real World studios. A DVD and Blu-Ray of Big Big Train at Real World will be released in early 2015. Also dates for live gigs in 2015 will be announced shortly.

Progressive Music Awards Nomination

Big Big Train has been nominated in the Anthem category of the 2014 Progressive Music Awards which will be held in September at the Globe Theatre. Listeners can vote for their choice of Anthem and for their favourites in the other categories online at: awards.progmagazine.com/

Big Big Train in session at Real World studios

As part of the band's preparation for live shows, Big Big Train are spending a week at Real World studios in August. The band will be rehearsing and performing a number of songs at Real World which will be recorded for DVD and Blu-Ray release.

Awards For Big Big Train

Fish, Danny Manners, Dave Gregory, David Longdon at Classic Rock Society Awards

Big Big Train have won a number of awards in recent weeks.

In the 2013 readers' polls for Prog magazine published in the January 2014 issue, David Longdon was voted best male singer and BBT was runner-up in the Band of the Year poll. Nick was sixth in the best drummer's poll and Full Power fifth in the best album category.
