SPECTRAL MORNINGS 2015
A new version of Steve Hackett's classic track Spectral Mornings has been recorded and will be released as an EP on download and CD on April 27th. The release is the brainchild of Rob Reed who wanted to re-imagine the instrumental track, with its beautiful melody, as a song. Rob asked Big Big Train's David Longdon to write the words for the new version.
Spectral Mornings 2015 features guitars by Steve Hackett, vocals by David and Christina Booth, drums by BBT's Nick D'Virgilio, keyboards by Rob Reed and Nick Beggs on bass.

Danny Manners is continuing his occasional but longstanding collaboration with writer Jonathan Coe with a performance at the Studio Theatre, Library of Birmingham, 7.00pm Thursday 2nd April. The evening will consist of readings of short stories and novel extracts with musical accompaniment. Also performing separately with Jonathan will be prog flute maestro Theo Travis, and there will be conversation/discussion with broadcaster and writer Stuart Maconie.

Many congratulations to Michael Whiteman, who scored full marks in our quiz and wins the Jim Trainer painting. No less than five other people achieved the same score and only lost out through the luck of the draw: as consolation, they will be receiving a copy of our new EP when it's released (- currently scheduled for April).
